[Week 62] Jazz

Here in Lyon, jazz is big. In the metro system they always play jazz. I secretly love when I hear a classic like 'in the mood' start playing while im talking to someone waiting for the metro. That said it sounds like the UTAH Jazz have some great things going on. Thank you everyone for the updates, I love (this time is not secret) getting your nouvelles. This past week it was spring weather, it rainned a bit. But today its back up around 40. The first week is always crazy here in Lyon with the new missionaries and all the conférences that take place. We rarely get in on time because we're running people or things around, doing stuff for the assistants. I think thats probably the funnest part of the mission.
Miracles are happening here in the France Lyon Mission. Our goal of 50 baptisms is impossible. But We're going out and we're doing it :) I love thinking about the mile run. in the 40s 4 30 was the world record. in the 50s 4 00 was the record, and today, even high school kids can pull a 4 00 mile. We're putting faith in Jesus Christ and we're being blessed. Hocine showed back up yesterday so hopefully he will be getting baptised this month. Also we fixed another baptismal date with a man named Victor. This week we are going to be packed with rdv's. We are working our tails off, putting faith in God, and praying too much. Im really excited to see whats going to happen. While working for the Lord it allows us to found ourselves. I ahte the cliche phrase of getting lost in the work. But in doing that you find out who you really are. I feel like so much is changing back home and its not even really home anymore. All the news I get just sounds so foreign to me. I cant imagine a day without working all day, contacting hundreds of people and eating a baguette. So much is changing. I love my mission because I've learned how to have confiance in the Lord. It's a very humbling experience, but if you learn to have faith in God even when you are beaten to the ground and dont understand fully why, you will be blessed. I think im starting to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Atonement.
I love you all.
