[Week 23] General Conference

First off let me start by saying happy birthday kelly!! Its funny I met this American girl here that reminded me just of you. She sounded just like you it was hilarious! She is minoring in French and majoring in the same thing you are (I forgot what its called)! It was pretty classic I just kept saying, 'wow you really remind me of my sister' and lines like that and I found my self bragging about your accomplishments and careers haha. Now I understand why mom always does it with everyone she talks to! Well just imagine me singing happy birthday in french, cause thats what I am doing! I love you butt chin! Definitely the best sister ever.

Anyways this week I did a couple exchanges. One with an Elder from Grenoble and the other from Lyon. Exchanges are always fun. Well the big news for the week is that it was conference! I hope everyone watched it all and really enjoyed it. Its such a blessing having a prophet on the earth! All the words spoken were so inspired. Ive never enjoyed conference so much in my life. For missionaries its like the superbowl if I had to compare it to something. Everyone is watching with baited breath haha. Crazy news with the mission age getting reduced. I wish that could have happened earlier so I could have be eligible! Anyways sunday we got a member to take us out to Lyon so we could watch the conference in English. It was a blast hanging out in Eculley and watching the conference. So all was going good until the speaker before Elder Holland. the signal started cutting out and getting worst and worst. Just as Elder Holland stands up and starts his epic dramatic adress, it completely cut out! haha it was terrible. Ill have to try and watch in on a p day or something.

This week we found some cool new people and hopefully we can start teaching them and helping them partake of the Atonement. The trip to california sounds fun! I hope you guys enjoy it and are safe. I love you all and im grateful to have been blessed with such an amazing family. I wish I could be better for you all!

If there is anything I can do for any of you over here let me know!
I love you all!

Forever Love
Elder Gruber
