Zone Conference Tour

This week was full of miracles. We went out to Bordeaux, Lyon, and Aix for zone conference. Since it was the Christmas conference we combined all the zones and only did three conferences. We were presenting to a pretty large crowd, in Lyon we were about 120. When we got back from the tour we had a pretty cool miracle. Every week we make a mission newsletter and the assistants have a little section where we write in. Ill copy what we wrote in the newsletter to save time:

It was so fantastic being able to see you all this week! We loved getting to speak with you each individually during this conference tour. We were impressed with everyone’s faith; it was really noticeable and helped us boast our faith in this work! Getting back to Lyon we were determined to find a family. Normally we had an exchanged planned in our secteur, but unfortunately things fell through and we weren’t able to do it. Next thing we know we find ourselves out Saint Etienne way, so we decided to profit and go on exchange and learn from our dynamic missionaries there. We each went out with one team, with the goal to talk to everyone we contacted about the family. At the end of the day, we had about 12 numbers and half of them were families. We took a RDV at the chapel to finish the exchange. As one team arrived, the other was stuck in traffic. So we decided to go knock some doors around the chapel. We knocked the last door right as the other team showed up. The door opened immediately and we entered into a beautiful garden. We were greeted by a very believing man who immediately started firing questions about our beliefs. He finished by asking us, “what is the difference between your church and the Catholics?” We smiled and started to testify about eternal marriage and the possibility for families to be together forever. He was silent, and then said, “I’m going to get my wife. Come in, have a drink”. We followed him inside, met his wife, and endeared them. Next thing we know we’re praying with them and they`re inviting us over for dinner next week with all their children.

Our big focus in the mission now is finding familes. It was a great opportunity to boast the faith of some young missionaries. It was fun getting to work with them because theyre so humble. Its cool to work with other teams, not just the zone leaders.

We had an incredible rdv with our ami Isabelle. Ask me about it on skype. Which reminds me, itll be about 10 30 your time on Christmas day.

I love you all, have a great week! Toodles.
