The Baptism of Victor

Hello everyone. The highlight of this week was obviously our miracle baptism. I went on a split with Elder Yang to fill up the baptismal font, while Elder Heck was teaching one of our amis. Some other lyon missionaries were coming over in the same bus as Victor and some members and they were asking, 'where is the guy getting baptised'? They thought that he was a member! haha hes so great. Anyways It was an honor to get to baptise him. I had some great experiences with the priesthood that night. I was really sick all day and was not ready at all for the ordonnance. So I asked my companion for a priesthood blessing right before we started, and afterwards I felt great and had enough energy for the rest of the night. Another good experience was the actual baptism. Standing in the waters of baptism was powerful. As I put my arm to the square I was overcome with the spirit. I am blessed the Lord trusted me enough to allow me to contact and teach Victor.
As we were heading home after the baptism I was talking to a member and I look back and Victor is contacting with Elder Heck! haha I laughed so hard. This guy loves missionary work and cant wait to go teaching with us.
Today we went out to Presidents house and had lunch. It was really fun. I love you all. Have a great week and remember to base yourselves on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Put first things first. As Brother Kid Kudi once said, 'everything that shines aint always gonna be golden'. Blessing takes work. Dont settle for the first option you see. Keep moving forward!
