Hey friends and family!
I'll try that again: Hey mom, dad, and sister. Thats better. Probably how it actually is.
This week was literally insane. Attached are the photos from this weekends festivites.
Just about everything that could have gone wrong this week, went wrong! Elder Strom and I were just destroyed this weekend when it was all over. The night before the baptism we werent sure if anyone was going to be baptised. Both baptisms were pending interviews with church leaders. But as you can see it all finished well.
A Great family in the ward took us out for thanksgiving dinner. I had deer cooked in red wine. Not a traditional turkey dinner but it was a good memory.
In october President Roney had us all set 'white christmas' goals. Which were to be 'gifts' to the Savior for Christmas. I set the goal of 3, which would be 1 a month. In France we could say that that's impossible. Well its done now and I have another month ahead of me. This marks the 5th baptism i've been blessed to have had in 5 months. I have a strong testimony of goal setting and trust in the Savior. I know that with him nothing is impossible.
Forever Love
Elder Gruber
