[Week 52] The Morning Breaks

The Morning Breaks
Hello again family! I feel so repetitive. I have done this intro now more than 50 times, so I apologize if I repeate myself.. Ill try and be more creative next time! I hope everyone passed a really good week. 80! wow thats incredible. We had a couple days really hot here but its mostly gray and rainy like it is right now. I am jealous of that beautiful, DRY, warmth. I admit that thats one thing im not looking forward to this summer. The humidity. I think it will be a little less tramatizing than the last summer though haha.
So to answer some of your questions:
How is Geneva? I love it. I hope I finish my mission here.
Do you have a lot more meetings and teaching? lots more. we teach about four times more than I was teaching last transfer.
I know you have more teaching but do you have any baptism set up? we have 2 baptismal dates set, but thats not too important, the hard part is getting them into the water haha. Ive had lots of baptismal dates over the cours of my mission but only one of them made it!
is you weather nice? The weather could be better, but i enjoy it! :)
Are you liking the food, is there much difference between the food there and in France? I have to admit I havent had hardly any swiss food. The chocolate is really good though! The dishes from swiss are like fondu, raclette, and other dishes like that. I love raclette its my favorite european dish, but I havent eaten it yet in swiss.
This week was good. As I was saying last p day we had interviews this week. It was a really great time! The President Roney is such an incredible man. I so grateful to be in this mission with him. I hope I can have a life as cool as his haha. I know that I couldnt become the person I want to become if I was serving with any other mission president. I know that mission calls are inspired. I hope I get to spend more time with him and his family.
Today Elder Tromeur Elder Moeller Elder Bowers and I went and checked out CERN. If that doesnt ring a bell its the place in the movie Angels and Demons. Photos will be attached next week hopefully. Anyways it was really fun. Next week we might go check out the u.n. In any case geneva is a really cool town with lots of classic stuff to see.
My prays go out to all those that were injured or killed in Boston this past week. A truely tragic event. It makes me think of the Mormon Message `Mountains to climb` I invite all to watch. Im always very touched by the frere in the wheel chair. I pray that every one involved may overcomes these trials. I am grateful for all that I have and the blessings I enjoy. We never know when a catastrophe like that will happen, and we`ll lose someone we love. Thats why we must be quick to say 1. I`m sorry 2. I love you. Please understand the importance of the family and your relationship with those you love. As our beloved prophet says: dont just let someone assume you love them, tell them. I love you all and I hope that the wind may be always at your back!
Forever Love,
Elder Gruber
