[Week 53] A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief

A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief

Ill start right away with the questions!
do you have many amis? Yes, but they're not super duper great haha. Its really hard to see them. We really want to find cool amis that actually call us to see them, not us that call them!
Are you loving it? Yes I love it! I really love geneva and I hope I finish my mission here haha.
Are you eating at members homes? Never. I dont think Ive eaten at a members house once this mutation. We dont have the luxery of state side missionaries of getting fed every meal.
What are your responsibilities as a zone leader? We basically look over the zone and make sure everything works, that the missionaries work, that theyre obedient, and teach everything President Roney passes down. We have 2 zone presentations each transfer.. The zone training meeting where we teach a 2 hour work shop, then zone conference where we present after the assistants for about 30 or 40 mins. on sunday night we gather all the numbers from the zone and send them to the assistants and monday morning we call all the district leaders. Then anything else that the President or assistants ask us to do haha. Its a really fun calling. The best part is zone leader council. Its at the beginning of each transfer in Lyon and President just teaches us super amazing things to help us, and other teaching that we transmit to our zones.
This week flew by and Im extremely exhausted. We did an exchange with the elders of annemasse then the next day we did an exchange with the assistants. In the mission you always do exchanges with the leader above you so one of the blessings of being a zl is that we get to work with the assistants once a transfer. These guys are great missionaries and I learns tons being around them, great examples!
Today im going to have to cut this late we're rushed but Im going to try and send some pics! Just kidding I just realized I forgot the things... thats going to have to come next week im sorry!
I love you all!!
Forever Love,
Elder Gruber
