[Week 35] New Years Eve

I believe I was so excited to see everyone that I forgot to thank you all for the package that you sent me! Aw thanks so much. I was so stoked to finally get the camo tie! haha and the other purple one is super pretty. Thanks for all that you sent. I think the socks were the most needed. I love you all.
So obviously the highlight of this week was getting to skype you all. Everyone looks so great wow! And dad I was super impressed when you went to get the dogs and walked like a champ! Thanks for getting up early to talk, it really meant a lot. I love you guys.
So this week was pretty quick since we got to skype on tuesday. We had a zone training meeting in Bordeaux on thursday. Wednesday we spent a lot of time seeing members and helped out ward mission leader feed some goats. I'm sending you a picture a look in the left side of it you can see a dead one laying in the field haha. Friday we did an awesome activity with the priest. We split up in to 3 companionships of three and took them out porting for a couple hours. They were super scared at first but I was super impressed with them haha. also this week we met some really cool and some really crazy people.
Well theres not much to report on. I wish I had more to say. This week in crazy we have a lot of rendez_vous in diverse places planned and I have to go on 2 exchanges this week with Perigueux and Bergerac. Then the week after is the end of the mutation and I'll be doing another 2 exchanges. so these next 2 weeks should go by pretty quick! Dad you look like a 'tombeur' in the picture of you wearing my hat. Mom you look like the super model you are in the picture you sent me. My one request is to receive a picture of dad, mom, and kenz all wearing the scarf I bought! I love you guys and I wish you all a fantastic new years eve. Be safe and make some awesome plans for the new year. To quote our inspired mission president about new years resolutions. "act like the person you want to become until that becomes you. Do what they do. Read the scriptures like they read the scriptures. Act like they act. Serve others like they serve others." I know the Church is true.
Forever Love,
Elder Gruber
ps the worstpart of the mission is the fact that my hands are just super white and soft from doing no physical labor! it feels terrible!
